Agreement
By using FISH, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable standard end-user license agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Educational tool, not professional diagnosis
FISH provides planning estimates and general aquarium-husbandry information. It is not a veterinary, laboratory, engineering, or emergency service. Water chemistry kits, species sources, filters, tank conditions, and user inputs can be inaccurate. Verify critical readings, observe the animals, use safe water treatment practices, and seek a qualified aquatic veterinarian or experienced specialist when welfare may be at risk.
Your responsibilities
- Enter accurate tank volume, livestock, filter, measurements, and maintenance where reasonably possible.
- Never make an abrupt change solely because of an estimated forecast.
- Follow product labels and qualified professional advice for conditioners, equipment, and treatments.
- Do not use the advisor to request illegal, abusive, or unsafe content, medication dosing, or a definitive diagnosis.
FISH+ subscriptions
FISH+ is an auto-renewable subscription sold by Apple. The price and billing period are shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Any free trial converts to the displayed paid period unless cancelled. Apple handles billing, refunds, and applicable taxes under its policies.
AI and custom estimates
AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated. A custom fish created with AI remains marked as an unverified estimate. Confirm species identity and husbandry ranges with trustworthy sources before purchases, stocking, compatibility, or treatment decisions. Deterministic emergency warnings take precedence over AI text.
Availability and changes
We may improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, especially third-party or experimental services. Core local features are designed to work without the advisor. Catalog and model updates may change forecasts; the app explains the factors used at the time.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the service, evade quotas or subscription verification, reverse engineer protected service components where prohibited by law, or use the app to harm animals or people.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FISH is provided without a guarantee that every recommendation is complete or suitable for a particular aquarium. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
